Direct Message for Instagram App Reviews

I didn’t know this could be possible! I can even write persons who doesn’t follow me. Got togheter with an old friend through that and I love you for it :)

This is the only app that allows you to capture videos sent by Instagram DM using Quicktime screen capture. Highly Recommended

I’ve been searching for something that can open my Instagram’s direct message through my mac. As most people are aware, the browsers and clients don’t support that function. But this app, is the only app I’ve found that can do just that. Simple, secure, and easy to use. I am very happy.

Buggy. Messaging does work, however once the program lagged on message requests and whenever I get a new message request and click on it, it simply quits. So at the moment, there is no way for me to access message requests using the app. I wrote to their support about 7 days ago but got no reply yet. Therefore I assume they don’t really value customers. So be careful with this app and if you find alternatives, I suggest you explore them. Dear program developers, I will be happy to discuss this review with you and even delete it if you decide to contact me and solve the issue that I am currently having. Please feel free to improve your public image.

I lost my phone the other day and i wanted to keep up with my messages, so I bought this app. It was working fine at first but as time went on I realised old messages could not be deleted, when they were they would reappear as when I re-opened the app. One other thing that i found to be even more annoying was how the app would somtimes not send messages… No matter how many times I sent the message it would not go through. This is a great app, but there are too many bugs for it to be $3, it should be free.

Ok so this app works great for just about everything EXCEPT for sending messages. When I signed in it looked amazing and all my current conversations came up and I could view them. But when I actually type a message and press enter to send it, the text box just goes back to blank and no message actually sends. The only time I was able to actually send a message was when I actualy initiated a message from the Mac app. But even after I started the message i could not reply to any further messages. I think app has amazing potential and i would love using it in the future, but right now its basically pointless.

I love this app, but have turned in a suggestion for a few fixes that it needs. One - if you put quotes anywhere in the text - it will act like it sent it, but it will never post. I’ve taken to using an apostrophe instead of quotes, and that sorta fixes this - but it’s easy to forget about the quotes until your message is gone and you have to start over again because it didn’t post. Another thing is that when I delete a message within the app, the very next time I open the app again, there’s the deleted messages again! And something else that really bugs me is that the user name doesn’t show up in the app - just their picture/avatar - no names. Kind of confusing if you do a lot of communicating with others and you have a bit of a long list of messages. Otherwise, a very handy app. Just needs the developer to take some time and fix a few things - because it could be great, not just ok…!

I was looking for an app that would allow me to send and receive Instagram PMs on my desktop computer, since it’s not always convenient for me to respond via my iPhone. And this app does just that! However, it’s a little buggy: After a while, it will updating and I’ll have to restart the app. Or sometimes a message wont send, because it has an issue with a particular character or emoji. Otherwise, no complaints. It does what I need it to do. Great little app! :)

Crashes constantly.. almost pointless, hopefully an update will help

I’m very impressed how well this app works on OS X El Capitan! Would be nice to have the option seeing when users have seen your messages and sounds for notification when messages are received.

This product is exactly what I was hoping for, and does what I need, which is to participate in IG chat threads on the desktop. Some fixes needed are to be able to double click a picture in the thread to “like” it, and the fact that when you’re trying to type a message, and someone else sends a message first, the cursor leaves your message field and you have to click back into the field to finish the message. Lastly, it would be fantastic if you could export the chat sessions to a text file for archiving. Otherwise, this app is great!!!

This app works which is amazing in itself. A little glitchy. Can’t organize inbox, “Refresh” button seems to not work. Usernames disappear sometimes. But, as someone who does not own a smartphone, this is perfect. I can view my DM if I want and if not I can simply erase the app. Worth the money.

Doesn’t work for macOS Sierra! Once downloaded, when I try to open Direct Message for Instagram it immediantly crashes and closes whenever reopened. Please fix immediately!

It would be awesome if we could somehow manage multiple accounts. A quick switch feature would be the best!

Works Wonders, my phone stopped working, and I wanted to keep up with my friends, so I used this, and it is amazing! Five stars

I’m very happy to have this app simply for the ease of txting on my keyboard vs phone. There is one problem and that is when I get a reply there are error messages failing to connect. Although inconvenient to see these messages, quiting the app and relaunching it to eleminate the problem errors. I’m still happy to have it

I was a bit hesitant when I first bought it. But it works wonderfully. A must buy if you want to use direct message on Mac.

I use this to keep up with my customers asking questions, lately when i post nothing goes through. please fix this issue timeliness is very important to my business.
